Moek2000
I have a 98 ES 300 w/ 145,000 miles and I have two problems: 1. Engine makes a clicking noise which gets faster when I push on the pedal but sometimes goes away after driving a long period of time. 2. As soon as I turn on the AC switch (not air, but AC switch) it makes a loud buzzing sound. Any suggestions on what those two problems may be? P.S. A friend told me that it could be the lifters/valves that need replacing, but I can't afford $1,000 right now... Are there any other solutions? Thanks! If so, then it seems that A/C compressor is about to go. If the noise is there with the A/C off, then it might be the alternator or power steering pump. Moek2000
Yeah, it does go away when AC button is turned off... I guess I'll get the compressor changed sometime. Thanks! But any idea on the clicking noise from the engine?
