I had called the Lexus dealer here, and they quoted me a bit over $1000 for the brake booster alone, without the labor. I went ahead and got a used one from e-bay from an auto recycler for about $70. My indie, former Lexus mechanic installed it for about $250 and now it's back to perfect again. So brake boosters failing are really a rare case, my indie guy said that in 16 years he never had to replace one, but.. when that happens, I suggest you fellas to just look up e-bay.
