o00sin00o Posted February 17, 2007 Share Posted February 17, 2007 is there any way to add a subwoofer and a amp to the factory head unit?? i dont wanna rip out the dash and i wanna beable to keep the 8 disk in the glovebox.. any tips? blk_on_blk Posted February 17, 2007 Share Posted February 17, 2007 You'll want to keep your factory amp to drive your speakers. Use the line-level converter to pick off one of the rear channels to feed a signal to your sub. You'll have to run a separate amp for the sub. Also, if you want some better sound out of your system, the easiest way is with a speaker upgrade... just get some quality, low power coaxials and it will clean up the system.
