madness999 Posted August 20, 2003 Posted August 20, 2003 I already worked out a deal for the 2003 GX470. My question is should I wait for the 2004 or take the deal I got for the 2003 GX470? I wonder will I be able to get the same deal for the 2004 GX470 compare to 2003 GX470. Thanks
tcd Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 I think alot depends on the deal you got. I am shopping also and I got a quote from one dealer at $5,000 over invoice, another one I got $3,000 over invoice. What did they offer you?
washcorp Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 i'm in the same boat... i got an offer for $1,500 over invoice (including nav, rear ent, 3 row). should i be concerned? hopefully i won't have some the issues that i've been reading about (i.e., trans, nav, mirrors).
terryfinn Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 Great pricing goal is 6% over "real" dealer invoice and deduct dealer factory incentives. Take in dealer invoice pricing from KKB.com and black book.
washcorp Posted August 22, 2003 Posted August 22, 2003 Thanks for the info. I went to kbb (kelley blue book), and I'm actually at 5% over true invoice. Since they have to ship the vehicle to my home, I'm going to see if I came sqeeze another percent out of the deal. Thanks for your time and input. washcorp
chazz329 Posted August 24, 2003 Posted August 24, 2003 Can you guys provide me the names of dealer ship, state, and sales person's name & telephone number? I'm in virginia but willing to do out of state purchase for such a low price. Thanks in advance :D , chazz329
washcorp Posted August 24, 2003 Posted August 24, 2003 You might want to try LexusUS.com, contact Derris Ceresa @ 1-800-476-0161. He'll be able to facilitate the transaction through any dealer. He can also work with you on getting the vehicle shipped to you door. washcorp
madness999 Posted August 24, 2003 Author Posted August 24, 2003 I got a sale price of 50223 for purchase with Navigation, third row seat and factory navigation. Lease price of $667.50 without any cap reduction. I just have to pay the tax, first month and bank fee. I think I will try lexusus.com and see what kind of deal can I get.
chazz329 Posted August 25, 2003 Posted August 25, 2003 washcorp, is this legit? did you purchase one through them? at what price? if so, how was the process and the result? Thanks again, chazz329
madness999 Posted August 26, 2003 Author Posted August 26, 2003 Ya, I'm curious too. I spoke to Darrius yesterday and he said he got the 2004 GX470 available. I ask him if there was any changes to the GX470 and he claims no. I'm a little bit skeptic, he also said he would give it to me for 48000+ with Nav, third row and the entertainment system.
tcd Posted August 27, 2003 Posted August 27, 2003 He's selling the '04 for $48,000+ or is it the '03?
madness999 Posted August 27, 2003 Author Posted August 27, 2003 He said is the 2004. I think I will wait pass January of 2004. That is when the backup camera is available for the GX470. Here is the new Lexus press release link. Lexus news press release
washcorp Posted August 31, 2003 Posted August 31, 2003 LexusUS is for real. Derris brokered the deal through Lexus of Glendale (in Cal). For $46,700 + $45 documenation fee, I got 2003 Blizzard Pearl GX w/ Nav and Read DVD. The only thing it doesn't have is the rear spoiler and tow. The shipping costs from Cal. to Atl. was $850. As for the back up camera, I found a location here in the Atl that will install it for less that $300. There are not enough differences between the '03 and '04' to warrant the extra 2 - 3 grand.
tcd Posted August 31, 2003 Posted August 31, 2003 Do you know what the sticker on the vehicle was? Does it have Lexus Link and 3rd row seat?
washcorp Posted August 31, 2003 Posted August 31, 2003 It does have 3rd row, and does not have lexus link The local dealers in the ATL were pushing stickers between $51,800 and $53,000 for a vehicle with the same equipment. They try to bump up the price for things like cargo net, floor mats, wheel locks, etc. Which in reality are standard equipment on the GX. The kelly blue book value for the vehicle was $44,722 with the equipment I specified. God directed to keep on searching and that's what lead me to this deal. I was ready fold tent and more on to another vehicle.
