john_letour
The new liquid (ATF) is red... ... the old one however is honey colored. Can they be mixed ????
blk_on_blk
I don't see why not... as long as they are both rated properly.
mburnickas
The new liquid (ATF) is red...... the old one however is honey colored. Can they be mixed ???? yes. what I do is suck all the old stuff out of res and just install new stuff. If it is brown means it is dead (bad). blk_on_blk
Really??? ATF can "die"? And it's indicated by a color change?
1995_ES300
I did the same thing, i would pump out the overflow tank, refill, drive around a day, dump it out, refill....and continue to do this about ten times. So far i went through 2 quarts. I am not sure how many quarts are needed for a complete fluid exhange though.
