joecroix
I had the windshield replaced with aftermarket glass and now the top will not latch so the top does not close. The window people are saying it must be a faulty relay switch and the lexus dealer is saying it is that the glass is incorrect and is pulling the pillar forward? Has anyone experienced this? If it is the glass then I expect the glass company to pay for repairs, if it is a relay switch I expect that falls under warranty, any help? The glass installation was the root cause. The right latch was out of position causing the switch not to activate the motor to engage the hooks, the dealer reinstalled the right side assembly and that fixed the problem. The glass comany paid for the repairs.
