lex90
Found a '90 LS 400 for my son. Car is in excellent condition but the prior owner (who was quite saddened over selling his baby) was concerned about the upper control arms. He included a salvage pair in the sale. I've checked out the tutorials and daizen replacement bushing kits & decided to give it a shot. Tutorials warn that the bushing replacement is a very time consuming operation. After struggling with the first bushing for 3 hours, I broke out the dremel tool with some of the new heavy duty reinforced cutting wheels. Made short work of the old bushings. 15 minutes to take each old bushing out. Going to replace the arms on the car tomorrow which will leave me with another set of UCAs. Anyone interested? By the way, the prior owner has a new Lexus.
