Ando55 Posted November 20, 2006 Share Posted November 20, 2006 I have a 1999 LX470 that doesn't make any sound anymore when pressing the alarm to lock and unlock also when the vehicle goes from an off to on the locks don't switch to "lock", vice versa from going from on to off, the locks won't go from "lock" to "unlocked". The vehicle doesn't use the factory key alarm and the problem occured after I picked up it from service at the dealership. The alarm is a 4 button unit that has A,B, lock and unlocked, is there a way I can reset the vehicle to recognized this alarm, no sound is made anymore whenever i press lock or unlock on the unit. It used to make a sound and it used to do the lock and unlock actions as described above on startup and taking the ignition off...anyway to reset the alarm so the vehicle recognizes back the 4 button unit?
