Es300 2003 Whistling Sound

I recently bought an es300 , 2003 with 28,000 miles. I notice a whistling sound when I accelerate from stop position slowly.

Is this sound normal?

I have the same problem, however the whistling is all the time (when the motor is running). Apparently it's the belts. They need changing after 45,000 miles.
