Battery Dies Over Night

My 99 RX300 battery dies when I park the car (outside) over night. I replaced the battery and that worked for 2 weeks or so but this morning the car wouldn't turn over. To my knowledge nothing is left on and I don't use features like auto headlaights. BUT When I shut the car down at night if I sit in the car for a momnet of two I do hear a clicking as if the AC/heater vent is opening and closing. This can go on for sometime. I thought the noise was the CD changer (sounds the same) but putting my ear to it I can tell it's from under the dash. I don't know where else I might be draining current.

When this first started and before the battery was replaced (Diehard) I thought it was the ignition switch becasue if I reset the shifter in park it would kick over but that no longer works. I think that was just the result of some power building up and giving me enough juice t start.

I'm not certain if the Alternator is functioning properly other then when the car starts in the AM it will start that night 10 hours later after the morning 40 minute commute for my drive home so I assume it is holdng enough charge for that period of sitting time. At night if I rev the engine I see no real increase or decrease in headlight strength something I've always heard was a sign that an alternator was failing.

While I don't think this is related one never knows The coil had to be replaced a week ago. Maybe there is a tie in maybe not but if I don't include this information it can't be considered.

Over all the car runs great once I get it going.
