41superc
I have a customer's '98 GS300 that has a cabin blower problem--the blower won't run. It will run if you straight wire it. Only codes we get with Mastertech is for solar sensors (because they were not getting light). The voltage on the signal wire from the A.C computer to the blower speed controller is only .5 v. Seems it should be between 1 and 3 v. But, we put 2v on the line and it still wouldn't run. Any thoughts? GuyTelefunken
Blower Motor Diagnostics According to the chart, page 3, if the voltage is not between 1 and 3 volts, the blower motor controller (relay) is suspect. It is possible that an internal failure of this part is causing the voltage to drop to 0.5 volts on the control input. Check the control line with the blower control relay disconnected. If it is between 1 and 3 volts, get ready for a $200.00 part. I'd look for used if I needed one. Blower Control Relay Replacement
