Press the "menu" button 2. Press the "volume" icon on the screen 3. Press the top left of screen 4. Press the bottom left of screen 5. Press the top left of screen 6. Press the bottom left of screen The service menu screen appears: 7. Press and hold the "override" button until you hear a beep and the text changes from white to black 8. No, this method is used to bypass the safety feature allowing you to input addresses while driving...I do know that there is a method out there to dial while driving....pretty sure it is on this site, too.
