Canopy
I consistently get about 29 mpg with the 2000 Lexus LS400 at 75 mph on the Interstate.
anthonyiez
imo honda does get great power out of their small engines but they are missing the boat by being so damn stubborn about not using a v8. as the rl is the flagship vehicle, a v8 should of been an option. imo acure will never be spoken of in the same way as lexus, mercedes and bmw until they offer a "real" rwd/v8 vehicle. Zett1111
Currently have 2002 Acura RL that is a sweet car but is hard on gas. Driving 70 mph it gets around 20.5 mpg. Around town is much less. Early LS 400 owners say their cars get 25 mpg at 70 mph. Searched this site and did not turn up much info on LS 430 gas mileage. Would appreciate hearing what gas mileage LS 430 owners are seeing in highway and city driving. I'm thinking about getting a 2001 - 2003 era LS 430 and better gas mileage is a consideration. I have an 2001 LS430. I just took a 180 mile trip last week and averaged 24.3 MPG going between 75 and 80 mph. This is no B.S! In town I get about 16.5-17.5 mpg. stop and go. This has to be oone of the finest automobiles I have ever owned. You won't be dissapointed.
