teemunz Posted April 12, 2006 Share Posted April 12, 2006 Toyota to recall 57,000 Lexus cars globally TOKYO (Dow Jones/AP) _ Toyota Motor Corp. said -- TOKYO (Dow Jones/AP) -- Toyota Motor Corp. said Wednesday that it will recall about 57,000 vehicles from its upscale Lexus brand globally, due to faulty parts in the device that winds seat belts. The recall affects the Lexus GS and IS models sold in North America, Japan, Europe and other markets. Passengers may not be able to buckle up due to the faulty parts. Those vehicles were produced between July and December last year. motocopter Posted April 17, 2006 Share Posted April 17, 2006 Heard that on the news about a week ago. We bought ours in March '05 so I believe we may not be effected. Could be wrong though.
