JetJoc Posted April 1, 2006 Share Posted April 1, 2006 I relaced the defunct battery on my recently purchased 2000 RX300 and when I cranked 'er on up, the check engine light came on and stays on. I am assuming from your post that you had a functioning RX without a check engine light before the battery required replacement. After replacement, the CEL appeared.
