fungo45 Posted March 21, 2006 Share Posted March 21, 2006 Hello all, My mother jsut bought a RX300 and it only came with the valet key. The dealer wanted a couple grand to replace the ECM and prgram some new keys. I told her to wait so that I could do some research. That's when I found this forum - great source of info. I seen many posts about getting the keys replaced/reprogrammed, and all of them state that it's cheaper to send the ECM in to various places to get the ECM reflashed. What I couldn't find is how to physically remove the ECM. I don't even know where to begin looking or what it even looks like! Any help and recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
