94 Ls Remote Key Problem

My remote entry does not work anymore. I have two keys and have changed the batteries in both to make sure that was not the problem. My dash switch is on and I checked the "Dome" fuse under the hood. Any suggestions on what to do next. Also, where is the receiver and control unit located in the car? Is it above the glove box? The reason I ask is I had my glove box out for some other work about the time the remote stopped working.
