RedSox04 Posted February 4, 2006 Share Posted February 4, 2006 Ok- I have two issues. First - I purchased a 2006 LX470 and had an XM radio installed. The problem is that after the XM radio was installed, my radio reception became awful (nothing under a bridge or tunnel and almost no AM radio). I had an LS430 with XM and the radio reception was fantastic!!! Second - I went through the local car wash and forgot to put the antenna down.....and we all know how the rest of the story goes. So - before I bring it back to Lexus for a new mast antenna, does anyone have any suggestions for a different antenna or any other solutions for improving radio (non-satellite) reception? Thanks!!! I brought it into the dealership yesterday and after a lengthy wait - I found out that the am/fm antenna WAS disconnected. I also found out a few things were missed on the XM installation.
