kmb4701 Posted February 2, 2006 Posted February 2, 2006 96 es300 I just had my car inspected for the new north carolina emisions test and it failed due to bad o2 sensors. The check engine light has never come on in my car since I've owned it and I've never had any real problems. I don't know which sensor is bad. And I really didn't know that there was more than one before searching this forum. I'm wondering how serious an o2 sensor is. I believe in "If it ain't broke don't mess with it!" but it must be replaced and my computer reset before I can pass inspection. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanx, kmb4701
Toysrme Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 If you're failing, something's wrong. What was the results of your test & we can tell you what's wrong without having to tell you to test everything ignition, or fuel related.
