93'lexes300
Ok I am probaby end up buying Zaino products using a buffer. I would like your advice on which should come first for best results. 1 Z-PC Fusion Dual Action Paint cleaner & Swirl Remover abrasive that breaks down and becomes a polisher. 2 Z-5 Show Car Polish For Swirls & Fine Scratches non-abrasive 3 Z-8 Grande Finale Spray Seal 4 Z-2 Pro Show Car Polish with ZFX additive 5 repeat step 3 6 repeat step 4 I would like two coats of polish and should i remove the 2nd step if im using step 1 :cries: and when should i use the polishing pad and when to use the light cutting pad and or wool pad??? ;) My car is a black 93' and has been completely repainted with a thick clear coat around 1997ish. Thanks for all your help in advance!!!
SW03ES
What type of buffer are you using? The wool pad strikes me as being overkill. I'd use the polishing pad with the paint cleaner unless you have serious marring or swirling, if thats the case than the cutting pad followed by the polishing pad. Leave the wool pad alone. I see no point in ordering or using Z5 since its designed to hide swirls, which would be removed by the polishing step. Other than that your order seems fine. SW03ES
Do you have any experience using that? Thats a rotary. With that and a polishing pad you could burn through the paint straight to the metal, let alone with a wool pad. Unless you really know how to use that I'd put it aside and get a PC or a Cyclo or something like that.
