92BlueLexEs300 Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Where is the Thermostat located on a 1992 Lexus Es300? Is it in the housing for the hose below the alternator? Or on the top of the block? Pics would help also if available. Any help would be greatly appreciated.... Just had head gasket replaced not too long ago and still having problems with overheating.
Toysrme Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Lower radiator hose going into the block. Replace both your coolant pressure caps also.
92BlueLexEs300 Posted January 31, 2006 Author Posted January 31, 2006 thanks for the info really appreciate it, didnt want to go through the hassle without knowing for sure that it was down there.
Toysrme Posted January 31, 2006 Posted January 31, 2006 Ya, Download that '93 FSM in the sticked FSM post. It'll go over almost anything under the sun you can dream up. You can also downlaod the Toyota Training Manuals.
