skenn1977 Posted December 14, 2005 Share Posted December 14, 2005 There's been a lot of recent discussion about moon/sun roofs squeeking and leaking. I don't have a rattle or leak problem, but I often get a click sound from the moon roof. I think this occurs when the car is moved and there is some type of torque on the roof. It's more an electic sounding click. Just once and goes away, like a one-time expansion. Anyone else hear this type of noise? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
GuyTelefunken Posted December 15, 2005 Share Posted December 15, 2005 Yeah, that S.O.B. is annoying. I only hear that particular noise when the roof is tilted open. I would agree about some kind of motion related torque on the roof. Personally, I spent too much time eliminating the squeaks to care much about the occasional "pop."
