falciott Posted December 7, 2005 Share Posted December 7, 2005 Ok, so the bottom gold tone of my 1990 Lexus is fading out, the top pearl white is excellent. My question would be.. is that easily fixable with a couple of coats of clear coat? I've browsed thru the forums but I haven;t found my answer...... yet at least. I got some hideous black moldings on the side from the previous owner, and I was thinking about removing those.. and applying some clear coat to it. Has anyone ever done this?! Is it recommendable? Do you know how much a body shop might charge for that bad boy?
