lexushoops Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 Has anyone put L-tuned sway bars on their GS? If so, how much did it improve the performance and did it affect the smoothness of the the ride? It's an expensive mod so I want to make sure it's worth it. Thanks
Neo Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 L-Tuned never made GS sway bars. Are you talking about the TRDs?
GuyTelefunken Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 (edited) I have the TRD Sportivo Stabilizer Bars on my '98 GS300. The cornering is definately better, but I feel the ride is more harsh than stock. One must consider that I also have KYB GR2 shocks all around and that I live in Pennsylvania; home of some of the worst roads. I've always wondered just how does a stock GS ride? Smooth and supple or with a little more road-feel? I really don't remember how the car rode when I got it. At that time, the front shocks were toast anyway. The ride is not Mercedes (real Mercedes, pre mid 90's) like, virtually nothing from the road to the chassis, nor is it as connected as say, a BMW. Edited January 8, 2006 by GuyTelefunken
