1999 Es 300 Keyless Remote Battery Change

Hi,

How do you open up the 1999 ES 300 keyless remote to change the battery? Its becoming increasingly difficult for me to unlock my car nowadays using the remote.

Also, after you change the battery, do you need to reprogram it to work with the car? If you do, how do you do that?

I think the 99 is like my 98. Use pry it open on the end. Also my car I did not need to do anything. Just put the new batt's in and that was it.

If you go to Radio Shack, they'll probably put it in for you. Mine did.

This is for a little bit newer Lexus but I think it should work as long as the Key Fobs are fairly similar.
