Gs350 And Gs 460?

I'm considering getting a Lexus GS but probably not until the 2007 Model Year. I was wondering if anyone might know if/when they will be putting the engine in the current/new IS350 in the GS and because of that they will also boost the V8 of the current GS430 to something like a GS 460?

I have been puzzled for awhile by the spec posted on jp's website

V8 model seems to have less max HP than v6s'. (Look at the diagram at the middle section of the page). Does it sound right? I can't read Japanese, which might be the cause of confusion.

I believe that is the case. Keep in mind, however, that it is comparing the 3.5 V6 to the current 4.3 V8. Wait until the new GS460. ;)

Also keep in mind that the V8 will still have more torque and is smoother. It is a different ride.
