PattyAtT
I'd like to add a sub to my '00 GS400.. I've heard multiple opinions, ranging from just get a basstube, to get an amp+sub+new speakers... If it helps any, I listen to mainly hiphop and raggae, so I love to hear that bass pound... Was just borrowing a friend of mine's car and he has an alpine 4-channel amp with a boston sub which sounds pretty good, but they fried his stock speakers... Suggestions? Will I lose flexibility with the 2-channel amp. I heard that controlling the music output from front to back is lost. It can be done. But not at the most optimal performance. What do you think about using a 4-channel amp and bridging the sub box?
