2001 Lexus Is 300 Problem And Question

Hello

My ignition got stuck in the ACC position and the key can be pulled out and put in easily. The steering wheel moves freely without locking. The clock is on and the radio/cd can be turned on also. I cannot turn the key clockwise or counterclockwise in the ignition from its ACC position. Any help?

Also i dont have a master key with the open trunk.. lock and unlock buttons but a regular key... and was wondering if it is possible to get a master key without replacing the brainbox or ignition set and door lock?

There may even be a TSB on the situtaion.

happened to me twice. Have to have ignition cylinder replaced.
