hi, i just totaled my civic and so i want to treat myself to a great car so i'm set on an is300. Just a few questions i have...which year is the best...i know the design of the car is pretty much the same..and the other question i have is if a certified lexus is a better buy then just payin the same price for the same car but less miles...

thanks

I believe the 2006 model is going to be completely redesigned. If your interested in the current models definitely consider a certified Lexus. Not sure which year is best but logically it would make sense to buy the most recent yr. Check out edmunds.com for standard equipment, consumer reviews and feedback regarding the IS. You will get a clearer picture of which IS you want and then you can start shopping....

go to www.kbb.com and run the numbers yourself. This will give you commensurate pricing based on your zip code and you know what options are on the car you are looking at as well as the condition.

Run it for both private sale and for sale by dealer.
