I have a 2004 IS300 that I just purchased and I need to replace the tires. I've done some research, but I want some first hand advise from people w/the same car. I need a GOOD all-season tire (17" rims) that will get me through the spring, summer, and fall in New England. Any suggestions? Anything I should avoid? Any advise would be helpful.

When I bought my IS300, I got it with two sets of tires, high performance tires and all season tires. The all season tires were Dunlop Graspic 215/45R17 low profile tires. They worked pretty well in the snow. As far as how well they hold up, I couldn't tell you because I have only been through one winter with them. Hope that helps a little.

What is the exact tire size you need heather? Is it the 215 45 17 size? Let me know & I will be better able to suggest specific tires.

The tire size is 215/45/17.

Based on what your looking for in a tire, I suggest these as the very best choices:

- Avon Tech M550 A/S

- Yokohama Avid H4S

- Falken Ziex ZE-512

- Toyo Proxes 4

- Pirelli PZero Nero

All are very good choices, the Avon & Falken are your best overall value & the Pirelli are the most expensive. I hope this helps & good luck! B)
