2006 Lexus LX 470 receives more power

Toronto, Ontario - Toyota Canada has announced that the 2006 Lexus LX 470 luxury SUV will be updated with new safety features and a refined new look, and with the addition of Variable Valve Timing-intelligent (VVT-i). This will boost the 4.7-litre V8 engine's horsepower from 235 hp to 275 hp, and torque from 320 lb-ft to 332 lb-ft.

Other changes include a redesigned front grille, new 18-inch alloy wheels, new LED rear combination lamps, and a new tire pressure monitoring system. Pricing for the 2006 model is $101,400.
