Smoke From Exhaust Upon First Startup In 5 Years..

Someone is considering this car. The owner states that the car smoked when it was first started for the first time in five years (stored in garage), but it stopped after a few miles of driving and has not noticed it since. Should this be expected? I am guessing that the seals dried out a bit, but who knows? Does it sound like it could get worse, or could it be ok now?

Let me clarify- when I say this- I mean the car had not even been started in five years.

If that's the case, I think it's perfectly normal & by the sounds of it in need of a serious oil change! B)
