What Tools Should Come With The Car ?

Recommended Posts

I'm new to the Forum and this is my first question to the group so here it goes ....

I have a 2002 ES that I bought used and I'm trying to get it as stock as possible.

I've already had to purchse floor mats and Repair Manual(s) as neither came with the car. But what I want to know is what tools go in the trunk??

Specifically on the right hand side of the trunk that has a molded holder with cut outs to hold tools. I've got the big screew eye for towing and the tire jack and handle that goes with it but, what else came with the car??

I've looked in the Ops. Manual and the Repair Manual and did a search here but have found nothing. I do have the Security locking lugnut key however, I don't have a single locking lugnut!!??

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You're not missing too much. There's a pair of pliers, a screwdriver that's interchangable between philips and flat-head, two open ended wrenches, one is 8mm on one end and 10mm on the other, and the other is 12mm on one end and 14mm on the other.

I attached a picture of mine.

I also keep a small compressor, a can of fix-a-flat and a flashlight next to the spare tire.
