  1. I have a 2002 ES300 and I'm replacing the Engine Under Cover No.1 and No.2. and I need help with the part number of the clips that hold them to the car. The factory Repair Manual show 14 total clips that hold the Engine Under covers, 7 metal screws to the front of the car and 7 plastic push clips to the back of the car. The problem is the repair manual does not list the part number for the screws or clips. When I took the two covers off I find three clips holding mine, the metal screws, a short plastic push clip and a long plastic push clip. Does anyone know the correct part numbers for these metal screws and plastic clips? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  2. Ratatat, Thank you so much for the information! Would you think it's possible to get the Key Code from the Dealership that the car originally came from?
  3. Bought a '02 ES300 used back in 2005 with only the Master Remote Key and no Key code.. Now the key fob (head) is cracking and I'm looking to replace the whole thing without having to take out an SBA loan. I have called and e-mailed www.Toy-LEX.com twice and with no reply back. Can someone point me in the direction of a business that can help? Thanks..........
  4. OK, so the new trans reflash under TC004-003R is covered under warranty so long as my car is under 80,000 miles correct?? So I make the assumtion that Lexus will not send a notification to ES 300 owners about this fix because this isn't an actual recall... Just checking...
  5. Sounds great. I'm having mine done next week. I hope it works!! ← steviej I too have a 2002 Model, would you recommend the reflash to anyone with this model year? I'm averaging 27.5 mpg but will take more if I can get it. :whistles:
  6. obsidianr, Thanks for the information... I guess I'll get with my Lexus Dealer in El Paso or Tucson and get some parts on order. Also, Thanks for the picture.
  7. I'm new to the Forum and this is my first question to the group so here it goes .... I have a 2002 ES that I bought used and I'm trying to get it as stock as possible. I've already had to purchse floor mats and Repair Manual(s) as neither came with the car. But what I want to know is what tools go in the trunk?? Specifically on the right hand side of the trunk that has a molded holder with cut outs to hold tools. I've got the big screew eye for towing and the tire jack and handle that goes with it but, what else came with the car?? I've looked in the Ops. Manual and the Repair Manual and did a search here but have found nothing. I do have the Security locking lugnut key however, I don't have a single locking lugnut!!?? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
  8. Hello Folks, I'm new here to the group, and a great group it is!!! I've got a 2002 that is getting ready to turn 70,000 miles. I'm averaging 27.5 MPG and 450 miles to the tank . I drive 80% on the highway at 65 MPH and 20% city driving usually around 45+. I got the car used the last week in January this year and couldn't be any happier with the gas milage as I use "High Test" unleaded and paying $2.33 per gallon :cries: here in Southern New Mexico.

  10. I got my 2002 ES 300 in January of this year and turned 45 in February. I can't tell you how much I love this car !! The comfort, styling, the fit and finish and the smooothness of a car of this calibar is unbelievable. This is the first luxury car I've owned and I'm now in a station in life where I can afford it. I was driving and still have a '97 Camaro .
