Lexus Asking Prices

CAR CLASSIFIED REFERRENCE - I see many posts with members asking what a certain year is worth. Who know? In order to know that you need lots of information. Every city has only a few LS400's for sale so I thought if we posted transcripts from local papers around the places we live, it might give us all a better handle on prices and value when we are looking around. It might also be nice to ad comments on what you think. Remember, this posting is for referrence only. There is a classified section for those selling. I have no interest or knowledge of any of these vehicles. You read what I read. VBD

COMMENTS

The 1992 is a good deal if everything works and the maintenance is documented. I might have an issue with the green. Green cars are bad luck. I wouldn't look at this car.

The 1993 looks good but the all caps scares me. Looks like either a high pressure car dealer or someone desperate. And the "sacrifice" part always is a red flag. Still, a 1993 with 117k for 5700? I'd do a look-see.

I'll bet the black 93 with 86k is sweet, you think it's worth $10k? Another car I'd check out if I was looking and it wasn't too far away.

I like the garaged part on the 1995. Black takes a lot of heat and garages save cars. I really have had good luck with garage kept cars. My Lexus has been stored in a garge it's whole life. I usually check out cars like this if I am looking

2000, sounds nice, I don't know about the price. Too rich for my blood.

So that is the Norfolk LS400 report for 4-12-05. When I see new 400's in there I'll let you know.

Not sure about the other ones, but a '00 isnt worth more then 21K by ANY means. No Offense. I guess that guy was tryign to match with the dealers price, but we all know Lexus dealers like any, add a significant markup due to obvious reasons.
