TruBaller
Hi...well I don't really know how to explain it becuase it's kind of hard to understand...OKay well you know how automatic car works right....when I step on the gas it would go and then the RPM would jump up to 3 or 4 (depending on how you step on the gas) then it drop back to 2 RPM and it would just get stuck on 2 (no matter how hard i step on the gas) until I'm going over 40 MPH then the RPM meter would start moving up...but something it would work right and just run smoothly.....does this mean I need a new tranny?...or is there a way to fix it?...pls help...thanks
KY3TS
DON'T KNOW ABOUT LEXUS BUT MY G.M. CAR HAD A SIMILAR PROBLEM AND IT WAS THE SPEED SENSOR CONTROL THAT WENT BAD. THE CAR WOULD NOT SHIFT RIGHT AND THE TACH WOULD JUMP . OCCASSIONALLY, IT WOULD WORK FINE THEN ACT UP AGAIN. IT COST ME ABOUT $180.00 TO GET IT FIXED AT A G.M. DEALER. HOPE THIS HELPS--GOOD LUCK LETS US KNOW WHAT'S WAS THE PROBLEM.
