What need to be done for 40000 miles service for RX300. Dealer ask for $399. doesn't give complete description of service. Thanks in advance for your reply. Arizona Posted March 20, 2005 Share Posted March 20, 2005 You do NOT need to go to the dealer to get general service preformed --- I go to the dealer for warranty work ONLY… Talk to your friends who own Lexus, Toyota, etc – ask them where they go -------- there are a lot of good repair shops that specialize in Japanese Cars that do the same work for a good deal less money… Oil changes, tire rotations, air filters, etc are easily preformed by a quick-change oil store… Keep a logbook and receipts of all work done… A log adds value when you go to sell or trade your car… Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
