Fog Light

I was planning on changing my yellow fog lights to the super white ones for better visbilty. I was wondering if this is an easy DIY project and any suggestions on where I can find them . I've seen a few on EBAY. Thanks in advance for yor input.

Check your user manual for the bulb type and change to Silverstars, thats what I'm doing....

Is your fog lamp housing tinted yellow? I think the GS and IS have yellow fog lamps and regular clear bulbs.

Go to www.danielsternlighting.com. He is a sharp guy who sells good quality bulbs.

There is a yellow lens inside the fog housings. This is what gives it the yellow light, not the bulbs. If you don't like the yellow, you can do 2 things:

1. Carefully go in, break the yellow, and remove all the fragments

2. Sell the yellow fogs and buy clears

3. Trade with someone who wants yellow. You might even get some cash out of it. Believe it or not, yellow fogs are somewhat in demand right now.

I have not had to swap mine for awhile so I can't remember: either 2 or 3 bolts/screws. Very easy though.
