lexdog Posted February 24, 2005 Posted February 24, 2005 I own a 01 rx300 its been a GREAT SUV but today the rear view mirrow compass stop working. :cries: All it displays is a " C " ??? :chairshot: Has anyone run into this problem ? Any ideas on how to fix ?
mikey00 Posted February 25, 2005 Posted February 25, 2005 It needs to calibrate itself. This will happen through normal driving or if you are in a hurry go around in a circle a few times. Mike

sirsatman Posted June 14, 2007 Posted June 14, 2007 I recently had my windshield replaced in my 2001 RX300. The compass did not work when I got it back and the windshield people can't figure it out. It displays two dashes, when you start the car it appeares for a couple of seconds that all of the lights to create the directions are working, then goes to " -- ". Thought maybe it needed recalibration, but the owner's manual keeps referring to "push the button" ... I can't find a %^@$$%# button to push. There is a hole in the back of the mirror, but it looks like some type to sensor, I tried pushing it anyway and it didn't appear to the a button.. A little help... Please!
JerseyDan Posted May 29, 2008 Posted May 29, 2008 Mine is doing the same thing. I'm taking it in today to get oil/tranFluid changed, and I'm gonna have them check that too. I'll let you know what they say
