es300lang Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 I Have a 97 es 300 (120K) with an ongoing but intermittent rattle coming from both sides of the front end (when the noise is happening it sounds like a can full of rocks inside fender wells (from the cabin)...or like something is just loose up front. When I took it back to the dealer ...they found no problem and diagnosed as low tire pressure ...but fter replcacing the rubber on all 4 corners it is as bad as ever. I have jacked the car up on stands and taken the wheels of and everything seeems prety tight with the shocks and suspension...yet the problem persists. Any ideas?

ArmyofOne Posted February 14, 2005 Posted February 14, 2005 Please check, i think1. lower arm control bushing 2. Struts and mounts 3. stablizer bushing ← pop your hood and check your strut tower brace (if you have one). if you do, chances are you will find the buts are loost. i know mine shakes loose every 3K miles or so.
