lexus400 Posted February 1, 2005 Share Posted February 1, 2005 About six months ago I bought inner and outer tie rods end from http://www.stopshopanddrive.com. They were a LOT cheaper than the OEM so I thought that I would give them a try. Well, as the old saying goes.... (insert old saying here), they're no good. I was changing my front brakes today and the rubber on both outer tie rods is dried out and cracked. It's just a matter of time (probably not much) before they split and will be garbage. Even after 12 years the rubber on the OEM ones I took off were perfect. There are a lot of parts where OEM is the only way to go and this is one of them...
