deejay
Hello everyone. I have a 1992 LS400 with a little over 117K miles on it. The other day I was driving over to my brother in laws and the car seemed to actually increase the bumpiness of the road. felt like I was going to bang my head on the roof on some bumps. The ride back (over the same roads) was the usual, smooth and quiet ride. Has anyone else had this experience? Or am I just crazy? I should mention that the car has the air suspension system, which I suspect is possibly heading south. Any enlightenment would be appreciated. silvermate
sounds like you hit the nail on the head.........its the Air Susp.. take her in to your fav. mechanic and have him check it out. as i don't think its a DIY (could be wrong though) sorry, i know nothing about A.S. setup though. <_<
deejay
OK, went to the $dealer$ and had them run a diagnostic. There was some sort of error code being sent that kept the compressor running constantly. Once it was reset, the problem went away. The mechanic said that it was basically making the car act like a low rider, FWIW.
