Hybrid battery replacement 2014 CT 200h

Hi Everybody, 

My name is Mira I'm new to the forum. I have owned my 2014 CT200h for 8 years and it has been a super dependable car.  I recently had an electrical issue and my brother said the code P0A80 was a hybrid/EV battery pack replacement code.  My question is what are your recommendations for replacement.  I see a lot of options out there and since I have an electrical engineering background, replacing the pack myself is not a problem and will save me a lot of money.  I searched the site but did not see anything on this topic which surprised me.
