power steering

Hi guys, the steering was a bit noisy today. All that I had was Prestone power steering fluid. I understand that my 07 ES 350 should take ATF. If I put just a little in will that hurt anything?

Would recommend pumping it out of the reservoir, and refilling ATF as recommended in owners manual. I used valvoline ATF and just pumped out the ATF fluid from the reservoir, refilled it with fresh up to mark. And the noise is gone for ever. I found my reservoir was empty and hence the noise. Every year after engine oil is changed, I do the same step manually, just as preventive maintenance. And this has really worked well. Good luck!
