Rpm Drop 96 Ls400

I have a 96 LS400. If I'm cruising anywhere from 40 to 60 mph and I let off the gas, the RPM drops around 1000 RPMs. It happens when I'm trying to maintain a constant speed and I am feathering the gas. There is a jerking motion as i go back on the gas. Any ideas?...Throttle control? transmission control? Thanks

there was a recall regarding the ECM for the genII LS, call your dealer with the problem and have ur VIN number ready. your car might qualify for the recall.
