Di I Need A Dash Kit?

im installing my aftermarket stereo soon ( i pick up the car on thurs, providing nothing else goes wrong with the house) and i wonder if i need a dash mount kit???

also, where can i get a wiring harness adapter, i would rather not hard wire it if i dont have to.
