toriduck
We have a 1993 SC400 that we purchased a month or so ago. When we got it one of the back tail lights was holding water and none of the lights on that side would work (passenger side). We changed all the bulbs (we used 1156 for all of them). Well, everything worked except the tail lights. After doing a closer check we noticed that the brake/ tail light bulbs were 1157. The owners manual doesn't say which bulbs are the tail lights so by proccess of elimination (we just tried every socket to see where the 1157s would work), we found one on each side. We thought we had solved the problem, but we still have no tail lights. All the bulbs work at some point (turn signal, reverse light, brake light), so I know they are all getting power. I believe the socket we put the 1157 bulb (has 2 filaments) is the second one on the bottom from the driver's side and the second one from the bottom on the passenger's side. Any suggestions? Steph.
