Low Beep Sound

Hi folks,

I have a 97' ES 300. I don't know why, all of the sudden, the beep sound becomes very low when I press the remote lock/unlock. Again, the beep sound is not off, but it is just very low. Would any one please tell me if there is a volume control for the beep sound?

There definitely is a volume control(a little black knob) somewhere on the lower part of the dashboard. I don't know exactly where it's located on the '97 though. Keep searching.

The volume control for the remote master key is located underneath the steering wheel column at knee-level for all '97-'01 ES :)
