Checking For Codes On A 91ls

Ok so far?

Well, my check engine light is not on, but the ABS and Trac lights are.

So I go to check by using the procedures suggested for my model year and this time the check engine light does not flash like it should in this jumpered state (short flashes with .5 second pause between each set of flashes) so I am confused.

What does that mean?

I have done this before, with the procedures I printed out and got code 41 (TPS-- according to the printout... please verify?), but this time it just keeps on flashing fast -- more than one flash each second.

Anyone has a clue what this means -- cause I don't?

I am thinking it is saying no code has been detected, but the instructions I have says nothing about this type of feedback.

thanks
