stevcaro
Hi, Just bought a 94 LS 400 with 26,000 one owner miles. Anything (age related) that I should look for? ie. tranny fluid, cooling system, timing belt etc? Book say to change trany fluid every 15K---is that right? Thanx, Steve :)
UCF3
No. There's nothing major you should be concerned about. Is the Battery original, and WOW 26k on a 10year old car? It is possible the Tranny and Engine fluids are jello-like at the bottom of the pans. Otherwise, just follow the book and follow our forum. flanker271
wow! How much did the car sell for?
SRK
There is a published age limit on the timing belt of seven years. Yours is well past that of course. Brake fluid should be flushed, of course, and engine (oil and coolant) trans and diff service done if not already. Other than that, drive it!
